Holiday Programs

  • Presentation Skills - Tabby Cats (Ages 6 - 7)

    This practical, two-day program seeks to give students a basic but very important introduction to presenting in front of audiences. Rather than focus on abstract theory (which becomes more important as students develop), this program looks into forming positive habits in students that allow them to present with confidence and give persuasive presentations. This involves placing an emphasis on practicing manner and presentation skills in a welcoming environment.
  • Presentation Skills - Tigers (Ages 6 - 7)

    Set over two days, our Tigers course uses interactive and fun activities to both deepen students understanding of how to best present in front of a class and develop their confidence speaking to audiences. It reinforces and builds on the skills taught in our Tabby Cat program with the view to giving students further opportunities to develop good speaking habits. As with all our programs, class sizes are kept small to ensure that students are provided with a supportive environment where they are able to obtain individualised feedback from one of our experienced coaches.
  • Speaking Camp - Koalas (Ages 7 - 9)

    This interactive, activity-based three-day program aims to introduce the concepts of public speaking and debating to middle primary students who haven’t been exposed to much public speaking and debating. The program itself focuses on providing students with the essential elements of both public speaking and debating theory, and plenty of opportunities to practice their skills.
  • Speaking Camp - Kangaroos (Ages 7 - 9)

    This two-day course is designed as the natural extension of our Koalas course, and provides students who are looking to apply their speaking skills in a variety of novel situations with the perfect interactive, activity-based workshop to allow them to develop further. As with all our programs, class sizes are kept small to ensure that students are provided with a supportive environment where they are able to obtain individualised feedback from one of our experienced coaches.
  • Public Speaking - Hummingbirds (Ages 9 - 12)

    This introductory level, 2-day course aims to give later primary school students a head start on their public speaking and speech writing skills in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. This course lays strong foundations by assisting students develop an understanding of speech preparation alongside the development of a confident and engaging speaking manner.
  • Public Speaking - Hawks (Ages 9 - 12)

    This workshop changes every holidays, which allows students to practice and develop their public speaking skills in a much wider range of different arenas. Each holiday we will choose a different focus, from impromptu speeches to mock trials, and will provide a two day course that delves into that topic.
  • Debating - Hummingbirds (Ages 9 - 12)

    This three-day introductory course is for students with no experience in debating who want to see what it is all about. The course provides an overview of the basics of debating and allows students to experience their first debates in a welcoming environment as part of a small, likeminded group.
  • Debating - Hawks (Ages 9 - 12)

    This two-day course for students with some debating experience allows them to consolidate their knowledge, hone their debating skills and gain exposure to interesting and pertinent topics. The course is modular in nature, and the coach picks and chooses the most appropriate theory sessions to suit the group before them.
  • Public Speaking - Pandas (Ages 12 - 15)

    This 2-day program helps students speak with the confidence they need to succeed in high school. By providing them with a foundational understanding of good public speaking, this course both teaches the students the necessary elements of crafting an excellent speech, as well as a range of opportunities to practice their new skills in a welcoming environment.
  • Public Speaking - Polar Bears (Ages 12 - 15)

    This workshop changes every holidays, which allows students to practice and develop their public speaking skills in a much wider range of different arenas. Each holiday we will choose a different focus, from impromptu speeches to mock trials, and will provide a two day course that delves into that topic.
  • Debating - Pandas (Ages 12 - 15)

    This three-day foundational program is designed for students who are interested in learning how to debate at a high school level. It provides an overview of the basics of debating, and allows students to experience their first debates in a welcoming and comfortable environment.
  • Debating - Polar Bears (Ages 12 - 15)

    This two day course is aimed at providing experienced debaters with the opportunity to both participate in a number of practice debates and learn some new material and skills that will help them in their school debating.
